It was an extremely tough story to tell, so please take the time to rate the talk or leave a comment on TED.com if you take the time to watch it. The speakers with the most views, comments, ratings etc. will be selected to give a talk at TED 2013.
The Android version of circleof6 is in the pipeline, which has been fun. The Android development process has come a long way since I first played with it in an emulator when Android devices themselves were but rumors. Look forward to a post from me about Android vs. iOS development soon.
Christine: I work on a college campus and deal with cases sexual misconduct cases including harrassment, sexual assault, and rape. Our most recent case did not have the outcome I would have liked, and I believe that we’ve empowered a couple of serial sexual predators. In so many of these cases, the slightest intervention by a friend or bystander could have prevented the assault as so many of them involve drugs and alcohol. I spent the day yesterday looking for education tools to introduce to our students and was so excited to find your app. It’s brilliant in purpose and design and I believe that it will be attractive to our students. Thank you for working on this. I so admire you for taking action to make a difference!
