Thank you to everyone who contacted me with your address! I have over 200 postcards to send and will be preparing them today. Unfortunately, I’m unable to take additional addresses to send postcards to at this stage–I mentioned replying within 5 days to my original email. If you’ve signed up for the newsletter since then and you get me your address within the next 24 hours (by October 14, 5:30pm UTC) I can potentially send you a postcard from McMurdo.
The first planes of the season passed through a few days ago. Official passenger flights start next week at the South Pole. Summer is coming!
