South Pole medical evacuation flight launched

The first medical evacuation flight to the South Pole station in the middle of winter has been launched. I cannot share more details at this time due to patient and pilot privacy, but I can share that I am personally safe. I hope to be able to share more details of the rescue in the future, and especially hope that the rescue will be hugely successful.
